The work I create is how I perceive the world around me. I grab people's attention through my art's colorful nature, unique stylization, and whimsical subject matter. What I invite my audience to do, once I've gotten their attention, is to think about how they perceive the world. Humanity is a huge aspect of my practice, showing the vulnerability of being a person in a complicated world. I want to communicate these feelings and thoughts in more everyday spaces rather than in galleries or museums. The best places for my work are accessible outdoor spaces, where a much more diverse audience gets the chance to see it than in any gallery.

Growing up in Richmond, Virginia had a huge impact on me as a young artist. I was surrounded by an amazing and unique street art scene. I painted my first mural in my senior year of high school. The project was often times overwhelming, I spent my entire art class block and several hours after school every day working on it. However, by the time I was finished, I knew I wanted to keep painting on walls. I ended up going to art school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. I was able to slowly and steadily grow my mural portfolio while I was there. After earning my BFA at VCUArts in December 2021, I got married and finally moved away from my hometown. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, I continue to create accessible public artwork that brings new character to the space it occupies.
