In April of 2022, I was contacted to participate in an art auction in Petersburg, Virginia. Out of curiosity, I asked the organizer if she knew of anyone interested in mural work while I was there. She happened to be working on a mural design for an outdoor space she was putting together. The piece was collaborative and ended up on an electric box. We started with some very loose ideas before putting together a rough draft. We took a “wing-it” approach to putting all of the elements together. It ended up being a wonderful collaborative project! The whole thing only took about 3 sessions to complete.
